Some photographers believe that their prints should be sized to a ratio of 3:2, giving them an image size of 12” x 18”, 16” x 24”, and so on, because this is the image size captured by most 35mm cameras. Others believe that their prints should be resized to a 4x5 ratio, giving them an image size of 11” x 14”, 16” x 20”, and so on, because these are the sizes in which printing paper comes.
