We proudly announce that highly acclaimed Nature and Wildlife and multi award winner David Tipling will be contributing articles and images to Landscape Photography Magazine on a regular basis.

David has worked as a freelance wildlife photographer since 1992. Birds have been a passion of David's since childhood and so it is no surprise that these are the focus of his work.  His images hang in galleries and collections throughout the world, including the Nikon gallery in Japan.  David’s work on Emperor Penguins won him the documentary award of the European Nature Photographer of the Year.  Further awards have included a number of successes in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.  In 2010 he was awarded Natures Best Indigenous Peoples Award for his work on Mongolian Eagle Hunters.

David has written and been the commissioned photographer for more than 40 books on birds and wildlife photography that include the best selling RSPB Guide to Digital Wildlife Photography. He has just finished work on a 6 year project documenting the cultural links of birds to people around the globe in association with author Mark Cocker, Random House Publishers and BirdLife International.  Birds & People will be published in August 2013.
