LPM: Most photographers have a moment where everything comes clear and that moment could change the way we see photography. Have you had such moment and how did it affect your style?

DT: This past winter when I was with a group of my photographer buddies shooting the Eastern Sierras, we saw this image of these indian petroglyphs in the Galen Rowell gallery in Bishop, California. When I was looking at the image it was really interesting to me, because I hadn't seen an image like that. I thought to myself, "wow, that would be really cool to see and photography something like that." After getting "somewhat" of directions to this place, we decided to try and find it.
