Book Review: The Landscape Photography Workshop

The concept behind this book is to provide the advice and guidance received by participants on a workshop for those people who do not have time to attend one or cannot afford to go. So, is this book worth buying? David Hay has the review

The text of this book covers the usual areas such as exposure, composition, lighting, filtration, post-processing and printing. The information is explained clearly in a particularly easy and accessible style. The authors recommend the ways in which to achieve the best results and back this up with many examples of their own photography. Although the photographs are not credited to the individual photographers, all the technical information about each image is provided.

The layout of the book is open and attractive with good use of white space. Subtle tints help the information panels to stand out. The illustrations, without exception, are excellent. There are so many ...
