Curbar Edge, Peak District, England
Woke up at 3.30am to drive to Curbar Edge; anticipation was high to go and capture what could be the best morning of summer we have had in a long time!
Got to Curbar and spent 5 to 10 minutes wandering around looking for a good compositional spot and finally settled on this one; with the fog in the distance covering the distant rocky outcrop and waiting for dawn’s light to illuminate it, it was worth waiting for that magical moment, mist rolling down the side of the edge, it felt great to be there!

Andrew, you have really caught the spirit of Curbar Edge here. That blue tinted mist and just a splash of gold light – very special.
