Taking photos of landscapes that impress me is something I recall from my early childhood. My photography journey as an adult, however, began in my early twenties, some seven or eight years ago. I took some pictures with my father’s old film SLR camera and from there it was a short way to my first digital camera. Today I shoot mostly with a Nikon D90. Based in Israel, I am lucky to have many types of landscapes within quite a short reach. On the other hand, large, untouched open areas are rare in such a small country. In my images I try to share the untouched parts which I was lucky enough to discover, both in Israel and in other countries. While those scenes can be rare, finding one is worth every effort.
