Landscape Photography Magazine

Stuart L Gordon is an Oregon, USA landscape photographer who sees the camera as a tool to express his personal vision of and emotional response to the beauty of the natural world. When not photographing the landscapes of Central Oregon, he is traveling to other parts of the state, the country and the planet in search of images that reflect his appreciation of and reverence for nature’s inspiring beauty.

“Through photography, I feel that I become part of the magic of nature. I am fully appreciative of how the camera helps me connect deeply with singular and unrepeatable moments like a glorious sunset or sunrise, a rainbow at the bottom of a glistening waterfall or a fog-shrouded mountain summit. These are invaluable gifts  from the universe.”

Born in NYC, Mr. Gordon is a former journalist and a black belt in aikido. He lives in Bend with his wife, Anne, who is a life coach, and three children. He currently is working on a book of Oregon landscape images. He draws photographic inspiration from landscape photographers Art Wolfe, William Neill, Paul Caponigro and David Noton. He began shooting with a DSLR three years ago.
